1. Chill Chalet is an independent, family run chalet that offers a great location to explore some of
he best mountains in the world. Our good hearty food, comfortable accommodation and
relaxed atmosphere make us a great option for your adventure in the French alps.
We are in the heart of Bourg Saint Maurice which is a lively market town at the base of the
mountain and only a short walk to the nearest lift. We are ideally located to enjoy Les Arcs and
the entire Paradiski area which is one of the largest ski areas in Europe with over 400km of
marked runs to explore for all levels. We have everything from tree lined runs and well
maintained pistes to exceptional off piste and parks. 70% of the ski area is above 2000m so we
get great snow all season!
Les Arcs Mountain Biking is certainly some of the best in Europe and these are the officially
marked trails available. There are 180km of marked routes and include one 27km cross country
circuit, five practice areas, a freestyle zone, north shore area, a slope style and four cross course
and a downhill run that plays part of the Rhone Alps Cup.

We have some of the best cycling route in the Haute Tarentaise starting on our door step.
Energetic road cyclists can climb 3 major alpine road passes - The Cormet de Roseland (1968m)
which is set among alpine pastures and open mid-May to early November, The Col de l'Iseran
(2764m) open from mid-June to early October on the edge of the Vanoise National Park and
one of the highest cols in the alps and the Col du Petit Saint Bernard (2188m) opens in late May
until early November which is on the border of Italy.
Regular cyclists will enjoy the balcony road route that run through local villages and families will
love the 12km almost flat traffic-free path along the valley bottom. This route is ideal for
everyone from cyclists and pedestrians and there is a lake, activities area and restaurant along
the way.
We also benefit from the convenience and choice of local shops, cafes, bars, restaurants and
rental locations without resort inflated prices just a stone throw from the chalet. The Closest beer,
bakery, shop or train station is only a 2 minute walk away! We are flexible on check in and out
times so you can make the most out of your time here in the Alps. You can start your stay on any
day of the week and book by the night for up to 13 guests. Breakfast is served daily and there is
always tea, coffee and biscuits. We serve great food and enough of it 6 nights a week. Evening
meals include red or white wine and beer.
Our Chalet is made up of 6 bedrooms and 3 bathrooms - 1 double room - 4 twin rooms - 1 triple
room - over 3 floors and each floor has a shared bathroom. There is a cozy lounge area with a
TV and a large selection of movies and music and a WII games console to keep you busy when
you not on the mountain. We have a kitchen area on the second floor along side the reading
area with a desk and computer. We also have a garden with bbq and fire pit to enjoy during
the summer. We have secure storage for all your gear ( bicycles, boards, ski, etc ) in our Cave.
