2. Tornado and Fire Drills
• A tornado drill and a fire drill must take place

• All SACC employees must become certified in
CPR and First Aid!
• Certification classes will be offered to all
employees throughout the school year.

• You should treat a basic cut or scrap by:
First cleaning it with soap and water.
Next, applying a band aid over the wound.
5. First Aid (Basics)
• When accidents involve bumps and bruises, a
small bag of ice should immediately be placed on
the hurt area to prevent swelling.
• This is especially true for head injuries, which
should be monitored closely for any signs of
concussion.
6. Ouch Reports
• All injuries that take place during SACC hours
must be documented with an “Ouch Report.”
7. Poison Control
• SACC employees must contact the poison
control center in the event that a child comes in
contact with or swallows a poisonous substance.
