  2. 2. MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION FACTS • 100 000 patients are hospitalized due to myocardial infarction yearly in Poland • 4% of them die • but 96% live, it is a great number!!!
  3. 3. MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION SAD FACT • after year of stay in hospital another 14% die because of secondary heart attack • What’s wrong?
  4. 4. MYOCARDIAL INFARCTION SAD FACT 2 • The main cause of such a pessimistic figure is lack of consistent life style change! • Usually heart attack motivates, by itself, to change behaviors only for 8 months! • The problem is: how to motivate those patients to permanent lifestyle change

Go!HeartGAMIFICATION PROJECT Main ideas and goals • Use initial motivation to create commitment • Increase knowledge of habits change methods, health cuisine, physical activity benefits • Create „small win” environment (21 days commitment) • Recognize risk of returning to old habits and help to create coping plans • Involve to social participation • Use different incentives to sustain motivation • Create community

Go!HeartGAMIFICATION PROJECT Means • Go!Heatr Web application with four mains functionalities: • Personal achievements management (goals, progress tracking, points, badges) • Social media utilities, (news, communities, success stories) • Learning management system (psychology of behaviors change, fitness, health nutrition) • Leader board (results, incentives) • Partners (Polish Cardiac Society, Local governments, Pharma companies,Telecoms) • Volunteers (personal trainers , nutritionists , doctors, coaches)
  7. 7. Go!HeartGAMIFICATION PROJECT 21 days commitment • There are three initial goal groups • FitFans • SmokeQuiters • WeightFighters • If you decide to choose one of four groups and pledge small behavior change you will receive access to LMS system with free video courses and your group badge

Go!HeartGAMIFICATION PROJECT 21 days commitment • After 21 days and success in change participant gain points, badge, leaderboard and social media personal success announcement • After three successful commitments participant will be able to achieve tangible rewards from CSR partners and choose different goal groups

Go!HeartGAMIFICATION PROJECT Team gameplay • Participant can create team or join team to take part in teams challenges • Once a quarter admin announce real life challenges • Every participant gather points, could win badges • Winners will be display on leaderboard • Challenge will be posted on social media • Challenges could be for example : • Month group weight loss • Fitness event challenge • Cooking contest

Go!HeartGAMIFICATION PROJECT Mentoring • After a year of experience and sharing a set number of success stories Participant can earn mentor status which gives her or him possibility to realize own ideas, conduct meetings, help others to develop difficult situation coping plans, have access to certified training programs etc.
