 Denmark   is one of the oldest nations in Europe, and
  is located in the northern part in Europe. The
  system of government is based on democratically
  elected parliament.
 The living standard in Denmark is high by
  international standards and gap between rich and
  poor is smaller than many of the countries with
  which Denmark is traditionally compared.
-The Childcare system in Denmark works with
parents of children to insure every child has a
great experience in the day care.
-Two thirds are municipal daycares centers
whereas the third are privately owned
Crèches for children aged 6 months to 3years.
Kindergarten for children between the age of 3
and 7
 Thereare formal and in formal childcare system in
 Denmark.
 Two thirds of established child care facilities in
 Denmark are municipal day care.
 The other third run by associations’ parent, or
 businesses in agreement with local authorities. The
 home based crèche must abide by the rules of The
 Childminding Act.
 Curriculum-Danish  child care systems pull ideas of
  curriculum and development from VYGOTSKY’s
  philosophy
 Creativity-Denmark emphasizes creativity and

  imagination on children.
 Care of the children with special needs-Children

  with special needs are well taken care in Denmark.
  Social workers make sure that, one gets the service
  he/she needs.
 Daycare subsidy-All day care centers are subsidized

  and can be free depending on the circumstances
 There  are two kinds of childcare
  professionals in Denmark; one is the family
  helper, which requires an educational
  background, and the other is the family
  daycare mother which doesn’t require an
  educational background.
 Family helpers are recruited by the local
  Township in which they live. After being
  interviewed, the recruits are hired and
  placed on payroll.
 Recruits are enrolled in a 420 hour, 15-week
  basic course. 20% of family helpers are social
  workers, and are not required to complete this
  course.
 After the completion of the course, the
  students are on probation for six months,
  supervised by a team of professionals, ensuring
  that they are qualified to perform as a family
  helper
