This document outlines activities for a preschool lesson plan based on the book Chicka Chicka Boom Boom. • become familiar with parts of the book.
• recognize letters and their sounds
• demonstrate fine motor skills through cutting,
pasting and play dough exploration.
• learn to make predictions.
• learn to listen and follow directions.

4. Technology/Software
• I selected to implement a power point because
it would be user friendly for my preschool
students.
• By simply clicking on the mouse the children
can view videos and play educational games.
• The power point can be used as a school and
home connection. It allows the families to see
what the students are learning and gives them
an opportunity to extend the child’s
knowledge.
