Charles Atencio's former supervisor at Process Facilities, Inc. wrote this letter of recommendation. In the letter, the supervisor states that Atencio worked at Process Facilities for 18 months and showed great enthusiasm and growth in performing engineering tasks like design, drafting, analysis, project engineering and cost estimating. Although Atencio was let go due to lack of available work, the supervisor believes he has a future in engineering and recommends him highly to prospective employers.

I have, for the past 18 month, had the pleasure ofsupervising the work ofCharles
Atencio as part ofmy role as the Manager ofMechanical Engineering at Process
Facilities, Inc. It is my responsibility to provide close supervision ofall staff, staff
training, and product quality control. It is from that context that I am providing this letter
ofrecommendation
Mr. Atencio is a very bright and committed young man. He is intensely interested in and
shows great enthusiasm in performing engineering tasks. I have personally witnessed his
growth as a result ofexperiential learning and his mentorship by a more senior lead
engineer. He has performed a variety oftasks including design and drafting, engineering
analysis including energy calculations, project engineering, and cost estimating, and has
successfully executed small project:S with an appropriate level ofsupervision.
The recent decision to let Mr. Atencio go was not as a result ofa shortcoming on his part
but rather the unfortunate circumstance ofnot having the work necessary to allow us to
keep him. I believe that Mr. Atencio has a future in this business whether working for a
consultant, owner or contractor and would recommend him to you, a prospective
employer.
I will be more than glad to discuss my opinion ofMr. Atencio directly. I can be reached
during normal business hours at 617 449 1184.
Sincerely,
