This is a letter ofreference for Charles Atencio whom I have known for over 4 years. I
was the Manager of the Mechanical Engineering Department at Process Facilities, Inc
and hired Charles' as a junior design engineer.
Charles is an intelligent, articulate young engineer. He has worked his way up through
the ranks starting out as an HVAC designer learning AutoCad to a position ofleading
engineering efforts on large projects under the supervision ofa senior engineer. From the
beginning he immediately got involved with the basics ofHVAC design and progressed
quickly into load calculations and energy'analyses. Charles was always eager to take on
any engineering task and was creative in his approach and presentation. He was a reliable
employee who put in the hours when needed. In the last two years he was handling
projects where he was responsible for the design, which required communicating with
HVAC designers, clients, project managers and contractors.
Charles is very career oriented and will work hard as well as take on a challenge for his
future employer. It was a pleasure to work with him and I wish him the best ofluck in his
future employment.
