This document discusses peer support services at Charles R. Drew High School in Clayton County, Georgia. It describes how certified peer specialists and recovery coaches will provide wrap around supports utilizing youth-led and strengths-based approaches to assist transition age youth. The goals are to engage students and address issues like mental health, substance abuse, suicide, and overall wellness using peers' lived experiences in recovery. A team including the school, district, and community organizations will implement and oversee the peer support program.
