To my friends and associates:

I am writing this letter to hopefully appeal to your goodwill and charity in order to acquire donations for the
Harvest House Development Corporation in their quest to help alleviate the hunger of some of our less fortunate
brothers and sisters. Harvest House has collected and disbursed with the help of many volunteers, over 15,000
pounds of food throughout our community just in December 2011. One of these volunteers is Harold Stewart.

Harold Stewart decided that in 2012, not only does he want to volunteer his time, but he wants to make an even
bigger difference in helping Harvest House. He decided to purchase, with his own personal funds, a 2012 Black
Nissan Altima and by raffling it off, the proceeds would be given to Harvest House Development Corporation. His
first attempted to raffle the vehicle was December 31, 2011. Unfortunately, he did not sell enough raffle tickets
and had to postpone the charity raffle until January 2012.

The next charity car raffle is being held on Tuesday, January 31; at 5:00 p.m. I want to reach out to YOU, my friends
and associates, and request that you write a generous check and help this worthy cause. Not only can you make a
difference by supporting this fundraiser, but you can win an awesome car, and your company will also be eligible
for a tax deduction on this donation. Each raffle ticket is worth $20.00, but because I need to raise $20,000.00 in
such a short amount of time, please consider a donation of a minimum of $1000.00 since time is of the essence.
Checks can be made payable to Harvest House Development Corporation and mailed to:

Harold Stewart
6849 Compton Heights Circle
Clifton, Virginia 20124
Cell phone: 703-407-3451

The contest organizers reserve the right to cancel or modify the contest if too few people enter. If $20,000.00 is
not collected at this raffle, then the money will be returned to you, and Harold will not have fulfilled his dream.
Plus, Harold will be saddled with a 2012 Black Nissan Altima that he doesn’t need.

Help feed hungry families by extending a charitable hand in purchasing a raffle ticket for the Harvest House
Development Corporation today!

Sincerely,

Matt Komos
