2. When building the main
character for our film I
recommended that we took a
lot of inspiration from Matthew
McConaughey’s
character in True Detective. He
was exactly how I wanted our
heroin to look like and act like.
I feel as if he is the perfect
detective, both risky yet logical,
and I wanted to implement that
into our character we
constructed. In terms of
costume, McConaughey’s
character completely
influenced us, and we decided
to style our character as close
to McConaughey's as possible.
