The event took place on May 4th, 2013 at a cyber café in Nyamirambo, Rwanda, and provided 25 daily attendees and 6 NGO members free and low-cost access to computers and the internet. The goal was to help local youth and community members learn digital skills and use information communication technologies for job applications, schoolwork, and communication as not everyone can afford smartphones or cyber café prices. Attendees were able to access email, learn computer skills, and find online job opportunities which has helped many youth gain employment and start small businesses.
