As I said in the first part of this multiweek challenge, I am adressing problem of not getting enough
sleep due to hyperactivity of a brain. It means that the harder you want to sleep, the more active
your brain is. I guess everyone already met this problem. You go to bed, tired, and want to sleep as
soon as possible, but your mind wanders and you have to think about various things. And nothing
helps. My idea in backround of upcoming proposal of solutions is based on thought that the shift in
focus may help and the distraction of mind wandering must be aimed on some specific task which
starts to occupy mind and brain and consequently helps us to fall asleep.
Here is my list of possible solutions:
to count prime numbers
to count sequences
to invent new words
to devise plans for next day
to try spatial imagination – try to imagine very complex spatial object and rotate it in mind's eye
to move limbs in concrete orders (sequences)
to do push ups
to do squats
to clean up the table
to write computer program
to web browse
to chat
to watch a movie
to sing
to play an instrument
to play a computer game
to design things in cad
to dismantle pc and then again construct it
to solve the rubik's cube
to move furniture around a place
2. to wash floor
to lay down on a different place – floor, table, etc.
to stand on just one leg
to stand without any move
to rearrange all clothes in boxes
to count all clothes
to order all clothes according to its colours
to reverse all clothes inside out
to imagine map of the world and find out locations of concrete places

to try to reverse all words which come up to mind
