1. The Chakra System

There are hundreds of chakras (energy wheels) locate on the body. Those most often
talked about are the seven physical chakras. These chakras each have a name and are
associated with major organs in the physical body. They are also associated with a color
of the rainbow, a sound/note in the musical scale, a vibratory rate, one of the electrical
bodies of the body, and with certain emotions and personality traits. You as a “soul” have
the responsibility to develop the chakra system to its full potential so that you as a person
can return to the creator, which is the soul’s final destination.
Usually, the Chakras are depicted as appearing on just the front of the body. That is a
little deceptive since the chakras are located on the front and back making what I call an
energy tunnel through the body (meaning that front and back chakras are parallel). The
“root/base” is considered to be the first chakra. It is located in the pubic area and at the
base of the spine. Its color is red and acts as a ground to the physical earth. Located
above the sex organs is the “spleen”. It is the center of creativity with a vibratory rate of
the color orange. Vibrating at the color of yellow is the “Solar Plexus” chakra. It is
located over the navel and serves as the barometer for personal safety and comfort. Green
is the color of balance and the “heart” chakra. The heart’s purpose is emotions and love.
The next chakra is appropriately called the throat chakra because of its location. The
focal point is speech and vibrates blue. So far each chakra can be associated with the
earthy qualities of the individual. Though still associated with the individual the next two
chakras reach into the beyond. Located in the middle of the forehead is the “third eye”.
Its color is purple and is the center for intelligence, universal understanding, and
concepts. The final chakra is centered on the head and is appropriately called the
“crown”. Its color is light but appears to be white. Through this chakra flows divine
energy, purpose, and love. This is our connection to the divine creator.
The chakra system like the physical body needs to be cleaned daily in order for it to
function properly. Cleansing requires almost the same amount of time as taking a
shower. For all who wish to work with the chakra system the best way to start the
process is to first cleanse your aura. You do this by asking the divine source to cleanse
your mind, body, and aura. Then ask to be surrounded by white light and love.
Preparing in this way now gives you an area of pure divine energy and love in which to
rejuvenate yourself.
For the beginner, the next step is to open the base/root chakra and then continue opening
each of the remaining six chakras. The command statement is simply “ I open my root
chakra.” Then repeat the phrase using the proper chakra until each “wheel” is opened.
As you open each chakra become aware of any sensations you feel in the area of that
chakra. Close the chakras in the reverse order. Again, the statement is simple “I close my
crown chakra.” By using this process, you will keep yourself grounded to earth and begin
to become sensitive to your outer bodies. You will also start developing, balancing, and
activating each energy wheel. Remember close each chakra. Otherwise, you are
allowing your energy to mix with and be depleted by other people.
The more advanced pupil starts with the crown. When the crown chakra is opened
divine energy fills the body instead of “taking in” the physical earth energies. You will

2. feel the energy moving through you and your chakras. The sensation is cooling and
satisfying as every part of you being is touched by light - and - as you continue opening
the chakras divine energy flows through the body and begins to “glow” out of the wheels
while filling the aura. This energy serves as a protection, allows you to stay in balance
and harmony with your “life’s purpose” and exposures the body to the divine energy
longer. Again remember that the chakras must be closed and closed in reverse order.
Sometimes a chakra will become blocked but usually, will be automatically unblocked
during the energizing and cleansing process. However, occasionally you will find a
“wheel” that is energy resistance. Placing a hand over the blocked area for a moment or
two will cause just enough of a barrier to the external energy force to allow the divine
energy to build a pathway to flow outward. This technique is simple and effective.
Development of the system opens new doors to understanding. By using cleansing
breaths and energy charged areas like the sea or a forest your experience will be
enhanced. These techniques will give a super energy charge because you absorb the
power and strength created by nature. The extra energy and prana produce healing energy
that can be used on anyone in need. If imagery is added to the development of the third
eye psychic abilities will be enhanced giving "clear” hearing, sight, feeling, and empathic
abilities. The benefits of developing our present chakras system to our full potential are
the increased mental abilities and the ability to function at higher levels of sophistication.
However, this is only our beginning. According to Barbara Marciniak, the author of
“Bringers of the Dawn” some of us will no longer be just double helix individuals. We
will begin our program change into the 12-strand DNA structure designed by our creator
God. If this is true, then most of us right now cannot comprehend our future or our
abilities. By developing our present chakra system we will awaken the dormant but
evolving “end-time” embryo becoming part of what Edgar Cayce calls the “new breed”.
This infant will evolve into a new twelve chakra being conscious of reaching out into the
galaxy, universe, and infinity. We will connect to a new electrical body that expands
past the physical to enter a new dimension where time is null and everything is in the
here and now. For each new body brings new gifts of connectedness to what we are
through the evolutionary process. We will continually reach out accomplishing one body
(dimension) after another. Until we touch all existence – The Divine Source.
