This document summarizes a novel ranking technique called CFAR-m that has three unique features: objectivity with no manipulation of weights, specificity through individual equations for each indicator, and decision support through simulations and proposed plans of action. CFAR-m has been used to rank countries on governance, institutional quality, poverty, and human development. It has also been used in research projects to build new composite indicators and integrate them into economic models related to governance and development. CFAR-m can be applied to sensitivity analysis, variable selection, and modeling complex phenomena in various fields such as economics, social issues, finance, and more.
