1. WSQ CERTIFICATE IN PROCESS TECHNOLOGY (CHEMICAL PRODUCTION)
COURSE DESCRIPTION
This program provides that participant with base level competence in the operation of a petrochemical process plant, with a
special emphasis on safety, safety processes and procedures. It further provides participants with ‘real life’ – on shift
experience of operating a plant under all conditions in a safe and controlled environment. Additionally, process
fundamentals and major equipment items are studied and practical safe operation training is given prior to a practical,
competence based assessment against industry standards which results in the award of the Singapore Workforce Skills
Qualification Certificate in Process Technology (Chemical Production).
