for orphans and students from poor families who need extra

       One boy in first grade, Waisudin, 12, said last summer that
he is still trying to juggle morning classes with long hours as a tile
worker. “He must work because his father died, he is the oldest
boy with three brothers and two sisters, and there is nobody in his
house to bring money to the family,” Karimi said.
       “I had many problems before,” Waisudin said. “This is the
only school that accepted me.”
       Waisudin’s teacher, Asma, said the CAI center is important
because “in Afghanistan, there is not enough money for schools,
but education is important, so it is our responsibility and our duty
