    HINDUISM PLAN
Hinduism

 This scheme of work is based on our
intercultural experiences in order to promote and
develop mutual understanding among people of
different cultures. We have split the work into
different levels of primary.It has been designed
to be carried out in approximately two weeks. At
the end of this time, all the works will have been
collected to make a big display.

Year 1 worked on some animals

and used plasticine to model them
Year 2 prepared “PYASAM”
Year 3 discovered Diwali, the
      festival of lights
and made rangoli patterns
Year 4 studied weddings and funerals
               rituals
What a colourful ceremony!
Year 5 met Mahatma Ghandi
Year 6 found the most interesting
      places and monuments
like the fabulous Taj Mahal
With the help of the Religion teacher, we met
   Mother Teresa of Calcutta
and learnt about her tireless efforts on
    behalf of the poor and helpless
WHAT AN EXCITING
