CCIS is a Norwegian national centre for research, training, and education in cybersecurity and privacy that was established in 2014 by stakeholders from industry, academia, and government. It aims to increase Norway's capacity for addressing long-term cybersecurity challenges, develop competence in relevant organizations, support the government internationally, facilitate knowledge sharing, and become a center of expertise in Europe. CCIS conducts research in areas like biometrics, cyber defense, critical infrastructure protection, and privacy.
