Jim and Toni Beaton started a small hydroponic farm in Michigan and became part of a movement producing extended-season tomatoes and lettuce through hydroponic methods. Hydroponic produce is now common in Michigan agriculture. TLC Hydroponics grows bibb lettuce, tomatoes, herbs, cucumbers, and peppers using hydroponic greenhouses from March through November. They offer various pack sizes to suit customer needs and harvest lettuce with roots intact for freshness.
