Fish fins

The main types of fins are paired (pectoral and pelvic) and unpaired (dorsal, caudal, anal). Each fin type has a distinct function in swimming, turning and balancing. Fins have evolved diverse shapes and forms to help fish survive in their environments.

Finfish

There are many types of fish classified by fat content and market forms including whole, fillets, steaks, and more. Preservation methods help extend shelf life and include drying, smoking, freezing, and canning.
Monkeys
There are over 250 different types of monkeys that can be divided into two main groups: New World monkeys and Old World monkeys. Monkeys vary significantly in size, from around 1 meter tall up to 35 kg in weight. They eat a variety of foods including fruits, leaves, seeds, nuts, flowers, insects, spiders, eggs and small animals. Some notable types of monkeys discussed include howler monkeys, known for their loud howls, baboons which live in groups of around 100 and communicate using vocalizations and tail positioning, chimpanzees which are closely related to humans, and spider monkeys which use their long tails to swing through trees.
Red fox pp
The red fox is found throughout the Northern Hemisphere and has the scientific name Vulpes Vulpes. It is an omnivore that eats small birds and fruits. Males make dens and stay in them while females usually do not. Red foxes are nocturnal, using hearing and sight to stalk prey and dig. They are clever animals that hunt alone and come in colors beyond just red, including silver, black and grey.

Common practices include breeding milkfish in hatcheries and raising fry in nurseries before stocking ponds or cages. Farmers closely monitor water quality, feed milkfish formulated diets multiple times per day, and harvest fish using methods to minimize stress and losses. Milkfish production in the Philippines relies on these culture techniques across different systems.
