Executive Summary
Andersen Corporation is the company which is now in its 110th year of serving our
customers, our people, and our communities. As a privately held, principle driven company with
deep roots and a history of leadership planning for the long term comes naturally. The CEO of
Andersen JAY LUND described in 2012 inaugural report Andersen Corporation’s legacy of
environmental stewardship and provided a report card on the sustainability record. The mission
of the company is to meet the needs of the present without compromising the needs of future
generations. Andersen Corporation fulfil various responsible from 1922 since 2013.
INTRODUCTION
Andersen 100 series single-hung windows are made from our fibre material- a composite
made of up to 40 percent reclaimed wood fibre from our manufacturing operations.JAY LUND
is the Chairman of the Andersen since 1922.Andersen is the most recognized and most used
brand in the window industry today.
Methodology
In order to study and evaluate of any matter, necessary data and information related to it should
be collected; is called data collection. Various methods should be adopted for collection.
Methods of Data Collection
To prepare this Case study of Anderson Window, data collection method is a basic work; such
data are taken from secondary data. They are:

DISCUSSION
The management of logistic:
Logistic includes the systematic framework that seeks to create a single plan for the flow of
product. It includes
• Inbound logistic
• Operation
• Outbound logistic
• Inbound logistic:
• Next generation materials used
• Operation:
• Reducing landfill waste, lowering airborne emissions using less energy.
• Safety performance and year-over-year improvements in all areas of worker safety and
ergonomics.
• Outbound logistic:
• Unique collaboration between the EPA and the fright sector for environment protection.
• Andersen commercial trailers from 2010 model year and later have automatic air gauges
to improve mileage.
• Converted transportation fleet from diesel fuel-powered trucks to trucks running on
compressed natural gas (CNG).
• Menomonie project.
Supply chain looks like:
Supply is done through the vehicle in some places and through ship in out of supply area. Due to
its quality and environment friendly nature the demand is increasing comparing to other
organization.
The company get competitive advantages through:
• Investing on research and development.
• Employee participation of production.
• Different awards.
• Donations when people.
• Formation of Eco villages
• Eco-centers,etc
CONCLUSION

i) Socially responsible.
ii) Quality conscious.
iii) Encouraged R&D.

RECOMMENDATION
The company can:
i) Increase more collaboration.
ii) Profit conscious.
iii) Aware or use of replacement materials. Eg: Metals
iv) Subsidiaries formation / expansion over export.
