This document summarizes a case study research on the effectiveness of computer-based training at Falcon Insurance Company. It employed a single case study research strategy and added a longitudinal dimension to increase usability and show how employees develop over time. Multiple methods of data collection like questionnaires and interviews were used to gather comprehensive data and answer research questions. Potential threats to reliability from participant and observer error/bias were minimized through confidential questionnaires and no retribution for answers. Threats to validity from testing and instrumentation effects were reduced by not directly announcing measurement and using results across employee groups with ambiguity about causal direction.
