Weeks of creative workshops and projects were held in Kharkiv, Ukraine in autumn 2016 as part of Deutsche Week to boost local grassroots initiatives. Several organizations partnered to deliver projects promoting areas like design, technology, literature and culture. This included launching a public fabrication lab (Fablab) in a garage, promoting audiobook culture, and transforming a literary museum into an open innovation space. The goal was to integrate these projects with existing institutions and stimulate Ukraine-Germany relations through creative economy and culture.
