This document presents a case report of a 43-year-old woman diagnosed with early-stage breast cancer who underwent breast-conserving surgery and chemotherapy followed by radiotherapy. She received intensity-modulated radiation therapy to her left breast in 21 fractions over 4 weeks, with an additional electron boost to ensure adequate dose to the tumor bed. The report discusses the treatment approach in the context of evidence-based guidelines for post-lumpectomy radiotherapy in early-stage breast cancer and factors influencing the decision for radiotherapy after breast-conserving surgery.
