10. Seafood
• AD has signed the World Economic Forum's Tuna 2020 Traceability
Declaration. It was signed by 50 major fishing companies signed to address
the challenge of unsustainable, illegal and destructive tuna fishing.
• AD has joined the Seafood Taskforce (STF) - which aims to ensure that social
and labour practices are improved in the Thai seafood feeding into our supply
chains. Tuna and tropical shrimp are the focal species.
• AD has joined the Global Dialogue on Seafood Traceability - which focuses
on setting standards to ensure that major data traceability systems
(databases) along different nodes of the supply chain are able to
communicate with each other (are interoperable) - which allows for more
streamlined traceability along the supply chain.
