Casa Batlló is a building in Barcelona, Spain that was originally constructed in 1877 but acquired and renovated by Josep Batlló in 1903 who commissioned Antoni Gaudí to redesign it. Gaudí covered the facade in colorful stone tiles and designed the scalloped and colorful roof to resemble dragon scales. He also paid great attention to details inside like the doors, windows, tiles, and fireplace. The building was declared a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 2005 and represents a masterpiece of Gaudí's creative genius.
