Summary/Responsibilities
Oversee all safety aspects for mechanical, maintenance and commissioning operations in
various chemical, refinery, and oil/gas settings for both day and night shifts on projects with up
to 1500 direct hire employees. Manage multiple field safety technicians and safety supervisors.
Perform safety audits for various work areas and activities. Perform safety meetings, new-hire
orientations and training on various equipment and operations. Perform incident investigations
to determine root cause analysis. Ensure environmental safety and health procedures are in
compliance with all applicable state and federal regulations as well as clients’ policies and
procedures. Responsible for implementation of behavioral-based safety program in a constantly
changing environment. Oversee and approve critical lifting operations.
