This document discusses common childhood experiences and family backgrounds of serial killers. Many serial killers experienced abuse, neglect, isolation, or exposure to violence as children. They often came from families with abusive or absent parents, experienced rejection, gender confusion, or were adopted. These traumatic childhood experiences are believed to contribute to the development of violent and antisocial behaviors in serial killers.
