Who am I ? Operational achievements
56 years old man with 30 years of
pharmaceutical industry’s experience. My
education is strongly rooted into sciences as I
started at the university to learn chemistry
and biochemistry and ended with an industry
focused “Ecole d’ingénieur” biotech degree.
What has been my career story line
I have been driven by the need to explore the
pharmaceutical industry technical fields: from
drug substance synthesis to drug product
formulation, from R&D to Industrial division.
Mostly focused on human health with a brief
detour within animal health.
What fuels me
Leadership, team building and motivation to
drive technical projects towards successful
achievement.
To explore, understand, synthetize, explain,
give meaning.
To question in order to improve: my practice,
tools, process - help colleagues collaborators
organization to realize their potential.

Secure and manage upstream supply :
Implement a risk-based raw material
worldwide supply policy that includes
proprietary custom-made drug substance
aiming at fostering trustful long-term
relationship across the entire product
lifecycle. Deploy the policy across all of the
internal and external pharmaceutical
production plants. Create and populate
database that automatically generates graphs,
indicators and dashboard along with a risk
register. Formalize the partnership Prepare
and negotiate the contractual, commercial,
financial, quality a regulatory terms of the
development, service or supply agreements.
Carry out the technical – quality – hygiene –
environmental visits or audits. Follow up the
corrective action plans progress.
Innovation actor and catalyst :
Innovation actor: management practices,
technology survey, custom development of
computer applications, novel packaging –
medical devices, acquiring and adding value
to the raw data with process analytical
technology, modeling and simulation, catch
inspiration from other industries, identify
unfamiliar technology to investigate problems
further (confocal microscopy, synchrotron),
contribution to new product acquisition and
innovation driven partnership. Innovation
catalyst in a bottom-up approach to convince
senior executive to promote innovation
culture within the industrial division:
“organize innovation event, create innovation
dedicated place (fablab), inspiring sites visits,
recognized innovators invitation, “brain
teaser” newsletter, informal cross division
members innovation spot meetings, share
knowledge and ideas with raw materials and
services suppliers.
Knowledge management
Establish scientific resources network
(academia, engineering schools, consultants,
research organizations). Develop internal
competency level through continuous
education programs (design experimentation
in order to generate valuable raw data,
pharmaceutical engineering, crystallization
and solid state, rheology). Promote ways to
add values to the raw data by systematic
statistical analysis, emphasize the visual
impact, develop models and conduct
simulations. Populate the knowledge
database with data from industrial
development and technology transfer studies,
trouble shooting during commercial phase.

  • 1. Who am I ? Operational achievements 56 years old man with 30 years of pharmaceutical industry’s experience. My education is strongly rooted into sciences as I started at the university to learn chemistry and biochemistry and ended with an industry focused “Ecole d’ingénieur” biotech degree. What has been my career story line I have been driven by the need to explore the pharmaceutical industry technical fields: from drug substance synthesis to drug product formulation, from R&D to Industrial division. Mostly focused on human health with a brief detour within animal health. What fuels me Leadership, team building and motivation to drive technical projects towards successful achievement. To explore, understand, synthetize, explain, give meaning. To question in order to improve: my practice, tools, process - help colleagues collaborators organization to realize their potential. Knowledge management: build, share, preserve… across the organization. Secure and manage upstream supply : Implement a risk-based raw material worldwide supply policy that includes proprietary custom-made drug substance aiming at fostering trustful long-term relationship across the entire product lifecycle. Deploy the policy across all of the internal and external pharmaceutical production plants. Create and populate database that automatically generates graphs, indicators and dashboard along with a risk register. Formalize the partnership Prepare and negotiate the contractual, commercial, financial, quality a regulatory terms of the development, service or supply agreements. Carry out the technical – quality – hygiene – environmental visits or audits. Follow up the corrective action plans progress. Innovation actor and catalyst : Innovation actor: management practices, technology survey, custom development of computer applications, novel packaging – medical devices, acquiring and adding value to the raw data with process analytical technology, modeling and simulation, catch inspiration from other industries, identify unfamiliar technology to investigate problems further (confocal microscopy, synchrotron), contribution to new product acquisition and innovation driven partnership. Develop internal competency level through continuous education programs (design experimentation in order to generate valuable raw data, pharmaceutical engineering, crystallization and solid state, rheology). Promote ways to add values to the raw data by systematic statistical analysis, emphasize the visual impact, develop models and conduct simulations. Populate the knowledge database with data from industrial development and technology transfer studies, trouble shooting during commercial phase.
