Working together
On December 10, 2015,Senior Talal
Hussain, Junior Edward Hwang,
and Sophomore Ethan Zimbelman,
all are experimenting together in
their AP Environmental Science
class by the creek to find out about
the turbidity of the creek water
nearby Frisco High School. They
started taking AP Environmental
Science at the beginning of the 2015
school year and learnt a lot in the
class since as well as enjoyed it. “It’s
pretty fun to get out of the
classroom and experiment,” says
Ethan Zimbelman.
Shall We Begin the Game
On November 11, 2015, Freshman
Carson Raney (on the right) wins
the game played on Kahoot. To
reward his success, Mrs. Davis (on
the left), the current biology teacher
for the Freshmen at Frisco High
School, allows him to pick out
candy from the Halloween bucket.
Biology had been a great challenge
for the freshmen however they made
it through the first semester
successfully. “It’s a difficult class, but
fun at the same time,” says Carson
Raney.

On December 10, 2015, Senior
Lauren Bradley set out to take
pictures of her fellow senior
classmates from AP Environmental
Science class 2A at the creek by
Frisco High School. She spent the
past four years at Frisco High
School and is about to graduate,
and after taking Photojournalism
she found out that it was her
passion. “It’s a recent passion I have
discovered and I’ve even changed
my major,” says Lauren Bradley.
Oh Boy It’s the Freshman Class
On November 11, 2015, Mr. Mai
teaches a lesson regarding Algebra 1
to his 2A class.  He has been
teaching Math for nine solid years
and hopes to pass on the knowledge
he gained to his students. “Teaching
is my calling and passion in life,”he
says.
Let’ Do This
!
On December 10, 2015, Junior
Aubrey Moore , Junior Morgan
Ernest, and Senior Danielle Gibbs, all
sit together on a chilly day at the
creek, about a mile from the school,
observing their sample test tubes and
clarify what the turbidity of the water
is. They started taking AP
Environmental Science since the
beginning of their senior year and are
expecting to learn as much as possible
through taking this class. “It’s fun
hanging out with friends and working
together often,” says Morgan Ernest.
Observers
!
On December 10, 2015, Junior
Pranav Chandran and Senior Talal
Hussain both stand in the cold
water of the creek and watch as the
other students use a small test tube
like bottle and collect water as a
sample in order to find the nitrate,
phosphate, and pH levels in the
water. These two students have
worked together through the school
year in order to gain knowledge
about the world’s waters. “Most fun
I’ve ever had in an AP class,” says
Pranav Chandran.
Strolling through the trees
!
On December 10, 2015, Junior
Pranav Chandran (on the left),
Senior Talal Hussain (middle),
and Junior Edward Hwang (on
the right) along with the rest of
Mrs. Littlejohn’s AP
Environmental Science class
stroll through the trees on the
way to the creek. Mrs. Littlejohn
had set up this experiment to
teach her students how other
scientists determined the
turbidity of the water in a fun
and unique way. “It’s a great
class and the teacher’s
awesome,” says Talal Hussain.
I Love Creek Water
On December 10, 2015, Mrs.
Littlejohn with her students came
down to the creek to use a quick
and fun method to teach her student
how to find the turbidity of the
creek water nearby the school. She
had a great amount of fun with her
students throughout the year and
during the experiment. “It’s a great
experience having fun at the creek
with my students testing the water,”
says Mrs. Littlejohn.
The Experiment is about to Begin
On December 10, 2015, Senior
Alicia Yu along with her fellow
classmates in AP Environmental
Science gather together and discuss
the process which they must follow
in order to finish their experiment.
They had a lot of fun walking
through the creek and collecting
water samples. “The water was
sticky and dirty,” says Alicia Yu.
Class Let’s Begin
On December 15, 2015, Mrs.Law
starts off by getting out her lesson and
gives the students the instructions to
their next assignment with Freshmen
Bryan Ballard (on the right) and Sam
Munir (on the left). Mrs. Law had
taught Creative Writing previously in
her teaching years and is now teaching
English to the Freshman class as well
as AP Language to the Juniors. “I
enjoy teaching the Freshmen very
much, even though they may be a bit
silly at times,” says Mrs. Law.
Bright Ideas
On December 15, 2015, Freshmen
Justin Treichler (far left), Carly Neal,
Reid Stacy, Bree Mann (back) all have
a conversation going on with Mrs.
Law about the assignment given. They
have been such creative and hard
working students along with the rest
of the class and learnt a lot from this
class from the past semester to now. “I
am happy that I am learning,” says
Justin Treichler.
Work
On November 11, 2015, Freshman
Sam Munir starts off with writing
his 40 minute essay in Mrs. Law’s
Pre-AP English class. He has learnt
to improve his writing skills in the
past semester at school.“I enjoy
writing and soon hope it will assist
me in the future,” says Sam Munir.
WHAT’S UP?
On December 15, 2015, Freshman
Xavier Momjian along with his
fellow freshmen classmates in Mrs.
Law’s 2A English class, poses as he
walks back to his seat after having a
conversation with Mrs. Law. He has
been in this class for an entire
semester now and feels as if he had
improved his writing skills a lot in
the class. “Interacting is the key to
success,” says Xavier Momjian.
Smile
On November 11, 2015, Mrs.
Davis, who teaches Freshman
Biology, calls out the winner to the
game of Kahoot with a basket filled
with candy in front of her. She had
made such a big effort to teach her
students what is right and helped
them improve their knowledge from
the past semester. “They have
personality,” she says.
Let’s code
Erin LaRue, Anna Kim, Juhwan
Jeong, and Eric Chegley (from left to
right) all sit in their 2A Computer
Science class attempting to
complete their assignments. These
students have taken this class since
the beginning of the school year
and have gone through many
challenging assignments.
“Computer Science as helped me
think in a unique way in order to
solve different problems. I’m glad I
took this class and I believe it’s a
great challenge which i hope to use
to m advantage”, says Anna Kim.
