Stacking refers to the total financial assistance that can be received from different government sources for a given project. There are upper limits on total government assistance depending on whether the funding is for a social program, economic program, or R&D. Government assistance agreements must state the percentage of total government assistance to avoid exceeding stacking limits. While many R&D programs provide funding before work begins, SR&ED tax incentives are obtained after work is completed through tax filings, creating uncertainty around stacking calculations. Pre-claim reviews are available to help determine SR&ED eligibility and avoid potential issues with exceeding stacking limits.

Open low cost cloud
In the last few years, one of the main problems of the cultural heritage institution is the progressive reduction of the investments. The hardware maintenance and licensing costs greatly affects IT budget. Virtualization addresses the need to streamline and consolidate infrastructure, even if the license costs remain high for commercial clouds. Open source solutions allow you to implement virtualization cloud which performance and functionality are suitable for the masses, without the constraints of hardware certifications and proibitive licenses costs.
Our infrastructure allowed us to build a ha virtualized environment using commodity hardware, regardless of specific products or manufacturers. Based on the interaction between a common linux kernel module and a software-based storage pool, is managed by an intuitive web interface. The system provides adequate performances provisioning services like web pages, OPAC, digital resources showcase, cataloging tools, library management, mail, etc.
GEORGE ZIMMERMAN (Insurance Underwriter) - Shooter In Trayvon Martin Matter
The fatal shooting of 17-year-old Trayvon Martin by 28-year-old George Zimmerman took place on February 26, 2012 in Sanford, Florida. Zimmerman, who served as the neighborhood watch coordinator, saw Martin walking in the gated community and reported him to the police as suspicious. Shortly after, an altercation occurred between the two which resulted in Zimmerman fatally shooting Martin once in the chest. Zimmerman claimed self-defense but was not initially charged. The circumstances of the shooting and the police's handling of the case received national attention, leading to the appointment of a special prosecutor who charged Zimmerman with second-degree murder.

The official title of this system of R&D tax credits is the Scientific Research & Experimental Development tax credit abbreviated SR&ED.
The SR&ED program is administrated by the Canada Revenue Agency abbreviated CRA.
All taxpayers anywhere in Canada are eligible to receive R&D tax credits at the federal level. Eligibility for R&D tax credits at the provincial level is predicated on two considerations; First the province must have an R&D credit and second, you must be a taxpayer in that province.

It is with great pleasure that we extend to you an invitation to the 5th Power Grid Model Meet-up, scheduled for 6th June 2024. This event will adopt a hybrid format, allowing participants to join us either through an online Mircosoft Teams session or in person at TU/e located at Den Dolech 2, Eindhoven, Netherlands. The meet-up will be hosted by Eindhoven University of Technology (TU/e), a research university specializing in engineering science & technology.
Power Grid Model
The global energy transition is placing new and unprecedented demands on Distribution System Operators (DSOs). Alongside upgrades to grid capacity, processes such as digitization, capacity optimization, and congestion management are becoming vital for delivering reliable services.
Power Grid Model is an open source project from Linux Foundation Energy and provides a calculation engine that is increasingly essential for DSOs. It offers a standards-based foundation enabling real-time power systems analysis, simulations of electrical power grids, and sophisticated what-if analysis. In addition, it enables in-depth studies and analysis of the electrical power grid’s behavior and performance. This comprehensive model incorporates essential factors such as power generation capacity, electrical losses, voltage levels, power flows, and system stability.
Power Grid Model is currently being applied in a wide variety of use cases, including grid planning, expansion, reliability, and congestion studies. It can also help in analyzing the impact of renewable energy integration, assessing the effects of disturbances or faults, and developing strategies for grid control and optimization.
