Each year, 1.2 million children worldwide are victims of human trafficking, including 20,000 children identified as victims of exploitation in Spain alone. In Spain, children can begin working between ages 16 to 18 but require parental permission if under 18, though working at 16 means no social security or fair wages. In Romania, children used to be able to start working before age 8 but now the minimum age is 16, as the government has forbidden child labor under that age.

problem that Spain is not foreing, only in our
contry there are 20,000 children “identified”
by the police, victims of explotation.

3. When can you work?
In Spain you can start to work between 16 and 18
years old. In Spain if you have less than 18 years,
you can work, but you need the permission of your
parents. But if you work with 16, you won´t have a
social security, you will have a bad salary and tis
can be a problem.

in Romania you can start working from a very young
age, boys and girls
they get to work in the field and bring money home to
contribute their bit. in earlier times could start from
less than 8 years but nowadays and the government
forbade work before the age of 16.
