Abstract
This paper is written to explain the admissions process as it currently exists at Wilkes University for graduate students and is an area of interest to the administration because of issues that were uncovered during the Middle States evaluation process. The graduate application process has evolved over time and at different points in the process there are successes and failures that should to be noted. The admission process for the most part has improved over the last three years, but as with every implementation process, solutions often lead to more questions. To make the case and discover the scope of the problem it is prudent to first explain the definition of terms and query fields used in the banner system for admissions processing. Next, the report will explain the human contribution to the project from the student services, graduate studies, the academic departments. Lastly, recommendations and an implementation plan will be laid out to enhance the current process which will include, data clean-up, and training to solidify the new coding policies and procedures once they are approved.
History of Graduate Admissions
The Graduate admission process was based historically on credit generation and back as far as three years ago clearly did not exist as an electronic process at Wilkes. The student application process was a manual process which included students sending in a paper application, transcripts and letters of recommendations and depending on the program other documentation if necessary.
At the time graduate applications received by mail were sent from the university mail room to the Max Roth Center. Processi.

Lean in HE- Improving MBA student recruiting process4Janyce B Fadden
This document describes how the University of North Alabama MBA program used value stream mapping to improve the efficiency of their student recruiting and admissions process. They mapped the current "present state" process, which identified significant waste and inefficiencies, such as GPA calculations taking over an hour per applicant and 52 students not actively working on prerequisite requirements. Their goal was to create a more efficient, student-centered "future state" process inspired by Amazon's customer service model. Changes implemented from the value stream mapping included streamlining GPA calculations, redesigning prerequisite requirements, and tracking applicants through a CRM system. These process improvements led to incremental gains in efficiency and a 15% increase in new MBA enrollments over the prior year
The document provides instructions for applying to the MBA program at the University of Florida. It also describes the admission criteria such as requiring a bachelor's degree, 2+ years of work experience, strong academic ability and test scores, interpersonal and communication skills, and managerial promise.
Visiting students are welcome to take courses at Bergen Community College during the summer and winter sessions. 2. Welcome to the presentation
on the Cambridge A & O Level
Registration Process. This
presentation will provide a
comprehensive overview of
the steps and best practices
for college to optimize the
registration process.
INTRODUCTION
4. Step 1: Filling
Out the Form
Students will receive a
registration form (attached for
reference).
The form includes personal
information, exam details, and
subject choices.
Students must carefully review
and complete the form
accurately.
5. Students will complete online
registration under the guidance
of the registration team
(teachers).
We will be available in a
designated computer lab to
assist students with the online
process.
This step involves confirming
the information provided in the
registration form and
submitting it electronically.
Step 2: Online Registration
6. STEP 3: FEE PAYMENT
After completing online registration,
students must deposit their exam
fees at the designated bank.
The details of the bank, account
number, and any other relevant
information are clearly mentioned on
the registration form.
Students must retain the bank
deposit slip as proof of payment.
7. STEP 4: MANAGING
DEADLINES
Strict adherence to registration
deadlines is crucial for avoiding
late fees and ensuring that
students are properly registered
for their exams. Timely
reminders and clear
communication are essential in
this regard.
8. STEP5:SUBMISSIONOF
DOCUMENTS
Once the fee payment is complete, students
must submit the following documents within
the deadline.
Completed registration form
Bank deposit slip (proof of fee
payment)
Any additional documents specified by
Cambridge Assessment International
Education (CAIE)
Students should submit these documents to
their respective class teachers.
9. STEP 6: QUALITY
ASSURANCE
Regular quality checks and
audits of the registration
process are vital to identify
and rectify any discrepancies
or errors. Continuous
improvement ensures a high
standard of registration
management.
10. STEP 7: SUPPORTING
DOCUMENTATION
College must ensure that all
necessary documentation,
such as identification proofs
and exam fee receipts, is
accurately maintained and
readily available for reference
and verification.
11. CONCLUSION
A smooth registration process
contributes to a positive
overall experience for
students. Efficient
procedures reflect positively
on the college and contribute
to student satisfaction.
