To impart Knowledge on Computer basics and CAD software tools in Apparel industry.
Course Objectives
1. Students will understand the use of CAD systems in the apparel industry.
2. Students will learn how to use CAD and software tools for textile and apparel design.
3. Students will be able to apply knowledge of CAD for efficient product development and professional portfolio
development.
4. To gain CAD competence in apparel design process, including Design Illustration, Fabric Specification, Pattern
Making, Marker making, Grading and Plotting the design of the fabrics.
