The pricing and discounting feature is very essential for Odoo POS. Global discount is actually a discount that will apply to the entire order. And it indicates that the discount is applied to every item in the order, regardless of how much each item costs separately. This slide will show how to manage global discounts in odoo 17 POS.

A procedure when multiple vendors are asked to submit proposals for a supply contract or project. It helps businesses to assess offers and select the best vendor based on factors like cost, quality, and other relevant factors. In Odoo 17, the Call for Tenders feature has undergone significant improvements, making procurement process management more efficient and seamless. Accessing and managing this feature can still be done through the same interface as Blanket Orders, with the addition of creating an exclusive agreement type for Call for Tenders.

STRATEGIES FOR READING NON-FICTION KATIE HOLMES RED4348
2.
BEFORE- SETTING A PURPOSE TO READ • Before we read, it is important to set a purpose! Why are we reading this selection? •
What are you reading to learn about? • Ask yourself: • What information do I need to learn? • What information do I want to learn? • Will this book provide that information for me?
3.
BEFORE- ACTIVATE BACKGROUND KNOWLEDGE Once you have chosen a book, think about what you already know. Activating background knowledge is important! Ask yourself: • What do I already know about this topic? •
What are some predications I can make about this topic? • Where have I seen and heard this topic before?
4.
BEFORE- PREVIEW YOUR TEXT • Now that you have chosen a book and activated schema, go through your book! •
Read the title, author, back of the book. • Look through your book at any pictures you will anticipate as your read through! Think about what is happening in those pictures. • Preview your text, flip through what you will be reading.
5.
BEFORE- ASK QUESTIONS • If you recognize tricky words or phrases you are not familiar with, ask questions before you begin reading! This will help you comprehend your story. •
Who wrote this text? What is the main idea going to be about according to the pictures and skimming I did while I previewed. • Clarify unknown vocabulary words, metaphors or concepts that you may have questions about.
6.
DURING– THINK • Now that you have begun reading-
think about what it is you are reading. Comprehension is dire! • Ask yourself if the book makes sense to you, where the setting is, etc.
7.
DURING- STOP • While you are reading this book allow yourself time to pause and reflect, or think about what you have read. •
This will help you slow down and fully comprehend what you have read along with anticipate what is to come!
8.
DURING- VISUALIZATION • When we read it is fun to visualize the book and make a picture in our heads. Whether we are reading about giraffes, Italy, George Washington or a chapter book –
visualization is key to comprehension! • Ask yourself: Am I making a picture in my head about this text? • What picture did the author paint in my head?
9.
DURING- MAKE INFERENCES • Ask yourself: What can I infer about in this book? •
Readers use clues in the text and what they already know to figure out things about the text. What can you figure out? Can you relate this book to your life? Are you familiar with the content in the text?
10.
DURING- AUTHORS PURPOSE • What is the authors purpose? What does the author want the reader to know? Why did he write this book, what is the author trying to tell us? •
Asking yourself these questions and discovering the authors purpose will also help support comprehension development!
11.
AFTER- ANALYZE • Now that we have finished reading-
what are your initial thoughts? • Think about what you read and review the questions/ predictions you had. • Which of your predictions was right?
12.
AFTER- MAIN IDEA • Now that you had read your passage, what was the main idea of what you just read? •
How did you come to that answer? • What from the text supports the main idea?
13.
AFTER- REFLECT • Did this book give me the information I needed or wanted to know? What did I learn from this book? Asking yourself these questions will help you reflect on the book and give you a strong understanding!
14.
REVIEW • Before reading it is important to remember to set a purpose! Think about why you are about to read, and what you want to learn. • During reading it will help you to ask questions, visualize your book, comprehend and thoroughly analyze your book! •
After you read- reflect! What did you just read? Did it make sense to you? Did you get what you wanted or needed to know out of the book?
15.
REVIEW • Reading is so fun! It is a key to many doors in life. Whether you are reading leisurely, informational, for vocabulary building, etc… It helps our brains grow, our knowledge grow and our imagination grow! Before, During and After reading strategies just help us tie everything else together.
