RN-XV from Roving Networks is a pin-compatible replacement for XBee serial radios that provides 802.11 WiFi connectivity instead. It acts as a UART to WiFi bridge, giving a raw TCP connection to any IP address for both incoming and outgoing communication. It can be easily interfaced with the Commodore 64 user port at 2400 baud to add WiFi functionality, though it requires a 5V to 3.3V converter and connecting both pins B and C on the user port RxD line.
