CONTENT OF THE REPORT
7. 7
Byggfakta`s sustainability report
• As a starting point, the report will look at projects from
2020 – 2026
• This will include a total of 44,455 construction projects
with a total value of NOK 4,708 billion
• 631 of the projects are eco-labelled, with a total value
of NOK 159.2 billion
• 1.4% of the projects are eco-labelled in the period. But
9.8% of the values that are built are eco-labelled
SUSTAINABILITY AND TECHNOLOGY IN BUILDING
AND CONSTRUCTION IN NORWAY
8. 8
Value
In 2020, the value was 10.6%, which is slightly
below the average for the entire period.
However, from 2020 until today it has gone
both down and up, which means that the
trend is only slightly upward.
We believe that this is because there
are currently too few, but large, projects
that are eco-labelled. And that the
initiation of the largest projects will affect
the overview to a greater extent.

12. THE LARGER COMPANIES MAKE AN IMPRINT
Byggfakta's overview shows that the 80/20 rule also applies to eco-labelled projects.
A special thanks to these companies. These are the companies that drive the industry forward in
an environmentally correct and sustainable direction.
13. ENVIRONMENTAL LABELING A FLOP OR REALITY
In order to find out how the market thinks, Byggfakta in collaboration with BIM has
carried out a survey to find out the scope of Breeam and the Nordic Ecolabel.
The survey was obtained from project owners and architects who have
construction projects with more than 50 million in construction costs.
We at Byggfakta look forward to seeing what a survey next year, five years later,
shows now that our customers have been through a few years of uncertain market,
building product prices, pandemic, inflation and war.
