Health Insurance Issues • Current average costs for a family of four, with an 80-20 co-pay after deductibles, are as follows: – Average annual deductible is around $2500 – Average monthly premium is about $1255 • If employer sponsored, avg. of 30% is paid by employee – Average wait period before use is 60 days – Clauses for Pre existing, age, gender, etc… – Deductibles and premiums are expected to rise by 25%- 35% (each) over the next 3 years. – Estimates are that 30% of ALL US companies will completely eliminate “Employer Sponsored” healthcare.
