Executive Summary
I felt the need from my own personal experience, when I left the
military the lack of jobs and support from the government. I could not
receive Unemployment Insurance because I was told that I “quit my job”.
No food stamps because I was single. I believe that anyone who served
our country and protected others, should be at the front of the line when
it comes to their needs being met.
This company will be successful (1) Experience: With 36 years of
knowledge working in the medical field. I know the ends and outs of
guidelines and standard needed to keep the doors open. (2) Employees
skills and training: They will come with their experiences from the
military and be placed according to their prior training. As their
employer, they will be trained in HIPAA, OSHA, and Sexual Harassment .
A drug toxic screen will also be conducted prior to first assignment and
random testing done at my discretion. Zero drug tolerance will be
enforced and immediate termination if tested positive. (3) My passion:
It’s not the money that is important to me, but being able to help others
not to struggle as much and feel like they have a place in society.
Company Description
I would like to introduce you to MAST (Military Affiliated to Society
Transition) Consulting Group, LLC located at 37733 Adela Court in the
Palmdale, CA 93552. The company will open their doors for business
with a target date of July 1, 2015 and will operate as a Sole
Proprietorship. This company will offer services for our veterans being
discharged from the military in the form of temporary employment
(short/long term and temp to perm). These assignments will fill
positions for those that are sick or on vacation. Some of the areas will
be in Healthcare, Warehousing, General Construction, Food Handlers,
just to name a few. A contract can be purchased for those who becomes
permanent employed with the negotiation the company involved and
myself.
This company is so important because no one should be neglected
or treated differently. These young men and young women have
fought in wars and against terrorists, not by choice, but because they
took an oath to defend their own country as well as others. The goals
of MAST Consulting Group LLC, is to make sure they are able to cope and
survive outside of the military.
Mission Statement
Staffing/Temp Agency
1. Establish an equally partnership with both our employees and
employers in finding placements to meet the needs or exceed
the goals of our clients.
2. Offer placements for the skills required by our clients in the
workforce industry.
3. Assist in cross training for those clerical skills that may be
needed.
4. Fulfilling the needs of the community through our trained
veterans.
Consulting
A trained therapist will meet with individuals who are struggling
to readapt to society. Whether it is marital problems or physical
handicaps that would make it difficult for an employee to function.
Sessions may be one on one, veterans and their significant other, or in a
group environment.
Vision
The vision of MAST Consulting Group, LLC is to make sure our
young men and young women who served in the military will not be
forgotten for the services they rendered. It is our way of saying “Thank
You” for all you’d done. By the end of our second year, we plan to be
a strong challenger if not a leader in this field. Our goals are: (1) Aid
in finding a job. (2) Aid in readjusting to life. (3) Eventually, aid in
getting our homeless vets into good housing.
Services
I became interested in the temp/staffing agency after working
with an agency and no follow up on making me permanent. The
position was a temp to perm after 4 months and after that time period,
I asked my boss if the company I was working for was thinking about
making me permanent. Her response was she haven’t heard one way
or another and she would look into it. She never did, and the
company I was assigned to, starting hiring others. After I was let go
after working 7 months and I was never asked what happened.
The reason why my company will be different from my
competition is by one word “care”. Not only will I be concern about
my clients, but my employees as well. I will meet monthly with my
clients to see how things are going and ask what can we do to better
serve you and then I will meet with my employees to talk about these
concerns. If my employees are having a problem on an assignment, I
will quickly find another site. I will listen to my employees and be
there as much as I can.
Marketing Plan
The company’s services in a general industry category defined as
Temporary Help Services with 561320 NAICS Code. In my research, I
found companies in this field income ranged from $75,000 to $1.5
million in annual revenues. My target age will span from 22 to 45,
with the average age being 33 ½. The demographics will cover the
Southern CA Region. Some assignments may require overnight stay.
Competition
After studying the marketplace we have identified the top two
direct competitors and have tried to objectively evaluate their market
position.
No. 1 Competitor with a ranking of 9 out of 10. They have a position
of leader with annual revenue of $1.5 million in service.

Management Team
The management team for MAST Staffing Solutions LLC will consist
of myself who will oversee daily operations. A lawyer to assist in
contract negotiating, a CPA to handle the bookkeeping needs, and a
licensed psychologist for sessions. The last three position will be on
contract, not employees of MAST Consulting Group, LLC.
Financial Plan
The company will have the following financial systems in place
before starting the business. The initial accounting system will be on
computer and every quarter our CPA will also handle our bookkeeping
needs. At that point, an internal audit will compare our bookkeeping
to the one done by the CPA. Any discrepancies’ will be corrected to
make sure we are still making a profit.

  • 6. Financial Plan The company will have the following financial systems in place before starting the business. The initial accounting system will be on computer and every quarter our CPA will also handle our bookkeeping needs. At that point, an internal audit will compare our bookkeeping to the one done by the CPA. Any discrepancies’ will be corrected to make sure we are still making a profit.
