This document discusses the relationship between organizations, individuals, and their environment. It states that organizations must consider their culture and traditions, but also be open to change in order to develop. Individuals are shaped by their environment, and an organization's environment includes factors both within and outside of its control. Counting them which are not visible is
difficult.

15. Work Situation Characteristics are factors in
work environment of the individuals.
Do colleagues encourage low productivity?
Do supervisor reward high performance, or
do they ignore it? Does the organization
culture foster concern for members of the
organization – or does it encourage cold and
indifferent formality?

accomplishments and employees’
satisfaction.
The employee may accept those factors
affecting his environment for the value his
organization might give them. Thus, work
environment influences worker’s job
satisfaction.
