Bullying is a serious problem affecting many students, with 1 in 7 students being victims. Bullying causes some students to miss school daily due to fear of attacks, and even leads to 160,000 students missing school entirely each day. Bullying has also contributed to the suicide of 270 children in 2005. To combat bullying, students and schools are encouraged to speak out and be the change they want to see.
