Editor's Notes
- Hello, I’m Hilton Bullock. I go to Fullsail University for Music Production and this is my PPP.
- My passion for music started at an early age maybe four or five when I began beating on pots and pans on the back porch. That Christmas I received a kiddie drum-set, and a real set a few years later. Music was my destiny!
- I always knew I wanted to make music, but I didn’t know how I wanted to do it. I went to school for Communications changed my major to Physical Therapy, and I didn’t do too well in school because I wasn’t doing what I wanted to do which was MUSIC.
- Follow your Dreams is something I would definitely tell my younger self. I wasted a lot of time trying to follow what other people wanted me to do. Time waits for no man!
- I found Full Sail on a facebook ad. It said “do you want to be a music producer.” Me being the lame person that I am said “yes” aloud. I submitted my information, and low and behold I bit up the nerve to follow my dreams!
- They had me at Mac, along with pro tools and Logic… I was sold out for Fullsail.
- I Have learned from Fullsail the history of music, music theory, and an overall better understanding of music. My music became so much better!
- Hip-Hop, Rap, Funk, R&B, and Rock but I appreciate all genres of music because they all come from the same fountain/origin.
- My competitive edge is my passion for music, the ability to network with anyone, and my eagerness to learn more about the music industry.
- My brand mantra is iCraveMusic which has a double meaning I meaning everyone but almost meaning me. Crave means a strong desire for something and it’s a nickname, and we all need/love music
- My short term goals are simple graduate! I have less than 5 months!
- My long term goals are to make hits, and I want to make an everlasting impact on the music industry. Later, I would like to break into commercials, movies, and games. I have no preference in which order it all comes. I don’t really care for the spotlight; I just want to make my living off of making music.
- My Dream Job would have to be a freelance producer. Where I could live very comfortably working when I wanted to eventually building an music empire that makes artists/producers shine, distributes music, and publish music. Hello! Fifth major label!
- Lastly, I think the world without music would be bland, no motivation, and just tension/stress…WE ALL CRAVE MUSIC!
