For this assignment you are to write a report looking at the market context of your exhibition
and where it would be held. You are also required to evaluate your experience of doing a
media pitch (use the feedback sheets/ tutor feedback/ watch the back and take screen
grabs)
As always the MORE examples and REASONING you give for each section the more
chance you will gain a DISTINTION.
1. Title page: Local media context of the (title) exhibition
2. Acknowledgements: special thanks ( people, organisations that have contributed to
your photographs)
3. Contents page - list of title headings and page number that they start on.
4. Abstract/ summary: outline what your exhibition is documenting and the local media
context that it could relate to (shops/ magazines/ organisation etc.), target audience
(age/ gender/ ABC1) and where it will be held.
5. Introduction/ rationale:
a. What is the theme of your exhibition? This should include a discussion of the
visual language/ message that you want to convey.
b. Who is the target audience/ client (audience profile)
c. Where the exhibition will be held and why?
6. Methodology: photography techniques used? What do you already know about
your chosen theme (portraiture / architectural etc) based on research? (1 =PASS/ 3
= merit, 5 DISTINCTION) research who your target audience is? how was this
communicated in your Media pitch.
7. Results/ findings: Evaluation of your images/ were the successful in what you
wanted to achieve? Use your peer and tutor feedback and survey monkey results.
