BT Rural ICT Conference

BT is committed to promoting an inclusive society through various apprenticeship, community investment, and digital inclusion programs. They have over 1,000 apprentices currently and expect that number to grow to 1,200. In the Southwest region alone, BT invested over £1.8 million last year in community activities and provided 110 internet-ready PCs through their Community Connections program. Additionally, BT has partnerships with Age Concern and Scope to help older adults and disabled youth gain digital skills and access technologies.

COSMIC's regional champion role aims to raise awareness and efficiency of ICT services in the voluntary community sector in the South West of England.
