Children from Beaconhouse Johar Town Campus in Lahore decided to take up the cause of advocating education for child labourers. They went out in the community to speak to 25 child labourers and their parents, providing them with books as well as information about local schools that provided free education.

10. We, the students of Beaconhouse condemn Child Labour!

12. We tackled the problem in a two fold manner: By interacting with the parents of child labourers and convincing them not toforce their children into labour. By distributing age appropriate books to the children and telling them to get enrolled in government schools which offer free education.

14. To implement our plan we met numerous children and adults from Johar Town and a nearby village.

21. We managed to convince 25 people that Child Labour is a CRIME and education is a basic right of every child!
