The Arc of New Jersey's Family Advocacy Program aims to help families of individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities advocate for positive policy change. There are several ways to get involved, including responding to email Action Alerts, becoming a Family Ambassador to assist with speaking to policymakers, or joining the Friends Network to advocate alongside individuals with disabilities and their families. The program provides information through email updates, an e-newsletter, and resources to engage in advocacy and policy issues affecting those with disabilities.
