“A Man’s Obsession with the Perfect Race”
I’m taking an informative approach while arguing an opposing
view to explain how one man would go so far to achieve his
idea of a perfect race, through many different types of methods
that were used to almost erase people that did not fit Hitler’s
Aryan theory such as, experiments that were conducted in his
beliefs in racial purity, on the Jews. With an insight in
concentration camps and gas chambers, as well as important
events such as the night of the broken glass. All these methods
leading a crater in history forever lingering on the minds of
human race.
Who was the man behind the Aryan theory? Adolf Hitler was
born on April 20, 1889 in Austrian. Born out of wedlock to
Maria Anna Schickelgruber. There is speculation about Hitler
family line that he might have Jewish blood from his mother
and his grandfather. In 2010, the British Paper the Daily
Telegraph had samples from 39 of Hitler relatives to test their
DNA and found it inconclusively to support that idea. Living in
Linz, Hitler was a lover for visual arts. Hitler and his father
were always clashing heads, both at different ends of the sticks.
Nevertheless, Hitler made an effort on his dream. Hitler knew
true poverty, and made enough to live before moving to Munich
were he experienced the general antisemitism. Hitler had to
depend on the Jews for his survival knowing that he had to
survive on the Jews, this fact lead to his hatred for all Jews.
After World War I, that is when Hitler begin to show, and
accept, the “anti-Semitic” ideology. Hitler was greatly
2. influenced by many powerful leaders and political movements
that were against anyone that wasn’t German. One movement
called: “The German Racist Nationalism” propagated by the
upper Austrian Pan-German politician Georg von Schonerer. A
powerful political leader the Mayor of Vienna Karl Lueger.
There is not a lot of people that could impress Hitler. Lueger
was the most influential person in Hitler life. Lueger reinforced
antisemitism more into the society making it more practical and
organizational than just an ideology and theory. Hitler begin to
engage with the theory of The German Racist Nationalism,
when the first outbreak of the First World War, Hitler was
promoted to corporal with the Iron cross as a runner. Later
down the road he was sent to Intelligence and Propaganda
section. Where he found he was a master in giving speeches,
charismatic, and persuading people to his side. His mission
there was making speeches to the troops to promoting German
nationalism and anti-Socialism. He was part of the German
Worker’s Party, and very extreme anti-communist, Anti-Semitic
right wing organization.
After enter the party he changes the party’s name to the
National Socialist German Workers Party, (Nazi) This party,
still today represents a combination of intense hatred for the
politicians and citizens who they considered had dishonored
Germany by signing the Versailles Treaty and aiding in the
event. Later on Hitler had challenges the current leader Anton
Drexler to become new leader of the Nazi party. After many
attempts of resisting, Drexler agrees and Hitler becomes the
new leader of the party.
Many scholar out there don’t believe the holocaust actually
happen. They believe that holocaust was actually a propaganda
made up by other European countries. Many academic
professional scholars such as Willis Carto, Bradley Smith, Ernst
Zundel, Ingrid Rimland, David Irving, Marker Weber, and IHR.
These are people are known as theHolocaust Deniers.
Quotes from Holocaust Deniers
3. Mark Weber is the director of the Institute for Historical
Review, an American Holocaust denial, and right–wing
organization in California.
“Don’t for a minute think that indoctrinating wide-eyed school
children with the lies and slanders against Germans, Slavs.
Catholics, Christians, Christians, Europeans, and whites in
general isn’t a primary purpose of the Holocaust-mongers. The
Holocaust is a religion. Its underpinnings in the realm of
historical fact are non-existent no Hitler order, no plan, no
budget, no gas chambers, no autopsies, of gassed victims, no
bones, no ashes, no skulls, no nothing. Secondly, it’s a religion
for losers. Suffice it to say that the rise of religions such as this
generally coincides with the decline and fall of nations which
tolerate them”. (Weber)
Bradley Smith stated; “That historians are constantly engaged in
historical revision is certainly correct; however, what historians
do is very different from this advertisement. Historical revision
of major events. . . is not concerned with the actuality of these
events; rather, it concerns their historical interpretation — their
causes and consequences generally. There is no debate among
historians about the actuality of the Holocaust. . . there can be
no doubt that the Nazi state systematically put to death millions
of Jews, Gypsies, political radicals and other people”. (Smith)
Year of 1991 in December, the American Historical
Association (AHA), the nation's largest and oldest professional
organization for historians, agree to a statement accepting the
Holocaust denial movement, saying, "No serious historian
questions that the Holocaust took place." The council's action
came in response to a petition going around among members
calling for an official spoken/written statement against
Holocaust-denial propaganda; the petition had been signed by
300 members or more attending the organization's yearly
conference.
4. Scholars who are against holocaust deniers’ argument
The History Department at Duke University
“There can be no doubt that the Nazi state systematically put to
death millions of Jews, Gypsies, political radicals and other
people."
David Oshinsky and Michael Curtis of Rutgers University had
written a statement, "If one group advertises that the Holocaust
never happened, another can buy space to insist that American
Blacks were never enslaved. The stakes are high because
college newspapers may soon be flooded with ads that present
discredited assertions as if they were part of normal historical
debate. If the Holocaust is not a fact, then nothing is a
fact. . . ."
Peter Hayes, with an associate degree in History and German at
Northwestern University, responding to the spoken statement
made by Smith by saying, "bear in mind that not a single one of
the advances in our knowledge since 1945 has been contributed
by the self-styled 'Revisionists' whom Smith represents. That is
so because contributing to knowledge is decidedly not their
purpose. . . . This ad is an assault on the intellectual
integrity. . . of academicians, whom Smith and his ilk wish to
browbeat. It is also a throwback to the worst sorts of
conspiracy-mongering of anti-Semitic broadside. . . Is it
plausible that so great and longstanding a conspiracy of
repression could really have functioned? . . . That everybody
with a Ph.D. active in the field — German, American, Canadian,
British, Israeli, etc. — is in on it together? . . . If one suspects
it is, might it not be wise to do a bit of checking about Smith,
his organization and his charges before running so implausible
an ad?"
The economic depression that deeply affected everyone around
the world, Germany was especially hit hard, and with millions
of people were out of work. Such an event still fresh in many
minds today. After Germany's horrify humiliating defeat fifteen
5. years earlier during World War I, and Germans self-esteem and
confidence was hit down the level of life. Germans had lacked
confidence in their very weak and unstable government. These
conditions provided a great opportunities for Adolf Hitler and
the Nazi party.
When Hitler become chancellor of Germany on January 30,
1933 Hitler had set his plans in motion. His powerful speeches
was so spellbinding and powerful, he capture the hearts of the
German who was desperate for change. Enchanting them to
cause one of the most horrify event for the Jews. Year of 1938
November, known as Crystal Night, or also named the night of
broken glass where 7,500 Jewish shops were destroyed and 400
religious builds built by Jews were burnt to the ground. Stores
were trashed and looted, dozens of Jewish people were killed,
and Jewish cemeteries were dug up. Crystal Night, or the night
of broken glass known to be the beginning of the Final
Solution
and the Holocaust.
