Britain. It’s the eighth –largest island in the world.
There are British, English, Scottish, Welsh, Cornish
and other groups. They have the same
administration and they are called the United
Kingdom. It’s surrounded by over 1000 smaller islands
and islets.

has 9 administrative regions.

country), it is a part of the British Isles but a
fifth belongs to United Kingdom. The Irish don’
t like to be called British isles because they are
confused with the English. Another name is

9. The English humor is different, the English
humor is word oriented while the Americans

ritual of tea drinking. It’s a special form to
prepare tea, it’s not quick. All the country
stops their activities for this ceremony.
11. The other side of the English character is the bizarre,
the audacious and the innovative. For example in the
musician, The Beatles and Mick Jaegger began the
revolution of costumes in western culture.
12. The English people are stereotyped as
inordinately proper, prudish and stiff and as
having bad teeth. The English men dislike
dancing, unless they are drinking.
