The document outlines four main user states for a proposed Brill eBook platform: Finding, Researching, Reading, and Using. It then provides 3 or fewer user requirements for each state to establish what users need the interface to do at each step of their journey. The purpose is to focus interface design and form a foundation for developing use cases without directly specifying requirements.
This report provides an overview of e-commerce and information security. It discusses key elements of a B2C online transaction including payment systems and fulfillment. It also covers issues companies face with international commerce such as intellectual property, tax implications, and complying with local regulations. Finally, it provides steps to build a basic website, including registering a domain name, hosting the site, designing pages, optimizing for search engines, testing before going live, and promoting the site.
This interim report provides key financial information for Axfood AB for the period of January to September 2009. The following are the key highlights:

Axfood AB reported stable operating profits of SEK 364 million for the third quarter of 2010, consistent with the previous year, on consolidated sales of SEK 8.58 billion, a 6.6% increase. Individual business units like Willys and Dagab reported sales growth and increased market share. However, PrisXtra saw decreased sales for two stores undergoing major road work. Axfood's goal for 2010 is to achieve an operating profit at least equal to 2009 levels and maintain its long-term target operating margin of 4%.

The 2009 First-Time Homebuyer Tax Credit was expanded to address issues with the original 2008 credit. The new 2009 credit is $8,000, non-refundable, and does not need to be repaid as long as the home is occupied for three years. The income limits to qualify for the full credit were also increased to $150,000 for joint filers and $75,000 for single filers. The credit can be claimed on tax returns filed by April 15, 2009 or 2009 tax returns.
Mark Jarrell presented on building a mobile Drupal site for Austin Peay State University. He discussed evaluating different methods for developing a mobile site, choosing to use a separate mobile URL and redirect users. The process involved designing a theme, upgrading content to Drupal 7, and adding the jQuery Mobile module to optimize the interface for touchscreens. Key elements were lightweight content focused on quick actions, and utilizing HTML5 and jQuery Mobile features to improve the mobile experience.

This document provides an introduction to the IW SOUL online magazine. It discusses the magazine's mission to celebrate ways of clearing distractions and focusing fully on whatever one does. It also introduces Innerwealth, the organization that started the magazine, as an alternative to different religious groups that beat each other up. The document then provides summaries of several articles in the first issue, including ones on letting nature be your guide, leadership lessons from the Himalayas, and keys to natural happiness.
The document discusses money management and financial planning. It covers creating a personal balance sheet and cash flow statement, budgeting techniques like setting financial goals and categories, and developing a long-term financial plan through analyzing your current situation, setting goals, implementing and reviewing your plan over time. The key aspects are developing money management skills like living within your means and saving for emergencies or the future.

It discusses 10 writing lessons, including using proper sentence structure and grammar, avoiding overly descriptive paragraphs, pushing yourself to do your best writing while still developing your skills, using an appropriate vocabulary for your audience, using sentence fragments sparingly, and accepting critique to improve. The document emphasizes reading widely to learn from other writers, writing often to develop the skill, and seeking feedback from knowledgeable critics.
The document provides information about pathways and programs available at Portland Community College (PCC). Effective Application Security in Software Delivery lifecycle using Deployment Firewall and DBOM
The modern software delivery process (or the CI/CD process) includes many tools, distributed teams, open-source code, and cloud platforms. Constant focus on speed to release software to market, along with the traditional slow and manual security checks has caused gaps in continuous security as an important piece in the software supply chain. Today organizations feel more susceptible to external and internal cyber threats due to the vast attack surface in their applications supply chain and the lack of end-to-end governance and risk management.
The software team must secure its software delivery process to avoid vulnerability and security breaches. This needs to be achieved with existing tool chains and without extensive rework of the delivery processes. This talk will present strategies and techniques for providing visibility into the true risk of the existing vulnerabilities, preventing the introduction of security issues in the software, resolving vulnerabilities in production environments quickly, and capturing the deployment bill of materials (DBOM).

Climate impact / sustainability of software testing discussed on the talk. ICT and testing must carry their part of global responsibility to help with the climat warming. We can minimize the carbon footprint but we can also have a carbon handprint, a positive impact on the climate. Quality characteristics can be added with sustainability, and then measured continuously. Test environments can be used less, and in smaller scale and on demand. Test techniques can be used in optimizing or minimizing number of tests. Test automation can be used to speed up testing.

A tale of scale & speed: How the US Navy is enabling software delivery from l...sonjaschweigert1
Rapid and secure feature delivery is a goal across every application team and every branch of the DoD. The Navy’s DevSecOps platform, Party Barge, has achieved:
- Reduction in onboarding time from 5 weeks to 1 day
- Improved developer experience and productivity through actionable findings and reduction of false positives
- Maintenance of superior security standards and inherent policy enforcement with Authorization to Operate (ATO)
Development teams can ship efficiently and ensure applications are cyber ready for Navy Authorizing Officials (AOs). In this webinar, Sigma Defense and Anchore will give attendees a look behind the scenes and demo secure pipeline automation and security artifacts that speed up application ATO and time to production.
We will cover:
- How to remove silos in DevSecOps
- How to build efficient development pipeline roles and component templates
- How to deliver security artifacts that matter for ATO’s (SBOMs, vulnerability reports, and policy evidence)
- How to streamline operations with automated policy checks on container images

Securing your Kubernetes cluster_ a step-by-step guide to success !KatiaHIMEUR1
Today, after several years of existence, an extremely active community and an ultra-dynamic ecosystem, Kubernetes has established itself as the de facto standard in container orchestration. Thanks to a wide range of managed services, it has never been so easy to set up a ready-to-use Kubernetes cluster.
However, this ease of use means that the subject of security in Kubernetes is often left for later, or even neglected. This exposes companies to significant risks.
In this talk, I'll show you step-by-step how to secure your Kubernetes cluster for greater peace of mind and reliability.

p5: Researching
Introduction
This document will explore the journey taken by users of the proposed Brill eBook p7: Reading
platform.
p8: Using
The purpose of this activity is to establish what the users need the interface to do
and identify how to focus interface design activities.
It might form the foundation for developing Use Cases on which the eBook plaftorm
can be specified. It does not attempt to specify any requirements directly.
The pathways described in this document will be mapped against the potential of
the eBook platform within the constraints of the project. There are many ways to
satisfy user needs, and the next piece of the Information Architecture will decide
how to address these needs most effectively within those constraints.
In this regard, the diagrams are necessarily high-level and conceptual. Try to
imagine you are a user when following them. Any ideas they create about the
interface requirements should be fed back to us, but in order to proceed, we need
you to verify that these are the ways that users will wish to use the site.
