Jess, an 11-year-old boy, dreams of being the fastest runner but loses a school race. He befriends the winner, Leslie, and they bond over their passion for running. Their friendship leads them to discover a mysterious magical land ruled by elves and trolls. With their new friends' help, Jess and Leslie come to rule this kingdom through their running abilities and partnership.
